AA District 15 recap Nov. 7, 2012

Trezevant extended the longest winning streak in AA District 15 this week by beating Dyersburg, 26-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Trezevant made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,181 from 1,852. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 26-0 victory over the Trojans last week.

Jordan Spencer put up the best numbers through the air as Teli White's team topped Dyersburg. He finished with seven completions for 95 yards and one touchdown. Spencer's favorite target this week was Phildarius Butler, who caught one pass for 35 yards.

Melvin Bond provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Manassas fell to Milan. He completed one pass for nine yards and also ran for 191 yards. Bond's favorite target this week was Daniel Moore, who caught two passes for 48 yards.

Joshua Jones made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bears bested the Trojans. The 6-foot-1 senior grabbed two sacks.

Thanks to the talents of Jordan Pegues and Bond the Tigers have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Pegues leads the league in passing with 866 yards, while Bond has rushed for 1371 yards this season. Trezevant's Lemarcus Stewart leads the league in receiving yards with 328 on 16 catches.
