Heritage had lost 23 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-23 to make it 24. They lost 14-1 to the Kecoughtan Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 on Tuesday.

As for Kecoughtan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-12. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games.

For Kecoughtan's part, Brayden Ellis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ellis was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Kecoughtan got a massive performance out of Henry Hampton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave Hampton a new career-high. Aiden Bain was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
