Soccer Game Preview: Burke vs. Bryan

The Burke Bulldogs will challenge the Bryan Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burke's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Burke's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Westview 1-0. Burke haven't had any issues with Westview recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Burke's one-goal win came courtesy of Helder Citalan Perez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Bryan was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell just short of Lincoln High by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Bryan couldn't quite close it out.

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Burke, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
