Volleyball Recap: Port Edwards Blackhawks vs. Pittsville Panthers

After flying high against Tigerton last Thursday, Port Edwards came back down to earth. The Port Edwards Blackhawks lost 3-0 to the Pittsville Panthers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-21, 25-9.

Kaylee Jacobson was a one-man wrecking crew for Pittsville as she had ten digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave Jacobson a new career-high.

Port Edwards' loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pittsville, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-5.
