East Surry waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 54-45 win over the Forbush Falcons. 54 seems to be a good number for the Cardinals as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

East Surry pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points over those games. As for Forbush, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5.

Looking ahead, East Surry will take on North Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Wilkes knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully East Surry likes a good challenge. Forbush does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
