Basketball Recap: Thrive Charter's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Saturday

Thrive Charter had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Bound Brook Crusaders 64-50 on Saturday. Given Thrive Charter's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Bound Brook is ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Thrive Charter and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points over those games. As for Bound Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

As of now, neither Thrive Charter nor Bound Brook have any future games scheduled.
