Softball Game Preview: Lower Richland Diamond Hornets vs. Crestwood Knights

After both having extra time off, the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets and the Crestwood Knights will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Lower Richland and ten for Crestwood.

Friday just wasn't the day for Lower Richland's offense. They lost 15-0 to Wilson two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Crestwood came up short against Hartsville last Tuesday, falling 15-1.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lower Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Lower Richland might still be hurting after the 20-4 defeat they got from Crestwood when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can the Diamond Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
