Preview: Seminole Warhawks vs. Calvary Christian Warriors
Seminole is 0-3 against Calvary Christian since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Seminole Warhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Calvary Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Seminole scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Indian Rocks Christian by a score of 55-44.
Laney Pearson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Molly Follett, who scored 12 points.
In what's become a running theme this season, Calvary Christian gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 46-17 victory over Anclote at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-7.
Seminole's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Calvary Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
