Baseball Recap: The Covenant's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

The Covenant extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 10-4 in the process. Everything went their way against the Christchurch School Seahorses as they made off with a 9-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Evan Pariseau was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Will Park, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: The Covenant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

As for Christchurch School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

On Christchurch School's side, Trey Fitchett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Coming up, The Covenant will welcome Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christchurch School, they are taking a road trip to take on Hampton Roads Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th.
