Volleyball Recap: Libby Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Libby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings & Valkyries this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7, 25-11.

Bigfork can attribute much of their success to Olivia Claybourn, who had 13 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, Claybourn is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

Libby's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Bigfork, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Libby will square off against rival Browning at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bigfork is set to take on their familiar foe Whitefish at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
