Recap: Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders vs. Ravenswood Red Devils
The Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Monday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a rough 62-35 loss at the hands of Ravenswood. Parkersburg Catholic was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ravenswood apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Ravenswood was led to victory by Emily Wratchford and Hadleigh McGoskey. Wratchford scored 21 points, while McGoskey scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Adams, who scored six points.
Parkersburg Catholic has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for Ravenswood, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
Parkersburg Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Frankfort at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ravenswood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ripley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Sophie Nichols and McGoskey.
