Fairfield is 8-1 against Teague since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Fairfield is taking a road trip to face off against Teague at 7:00 p.m. Fairfield is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

While Fairfield's win against Groesbeck wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Fairfield sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Groesbeck on Friday.

Meanwhile, Teague waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Black Cats by a score of 8-3.

Bo Bowers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caden Crutcher, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Braden Gauntt also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Teague pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Fairfield, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Fairfield skirted past Teague 1-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Fairfield repeat their success, or does Teague has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
