Shaler Area waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They didn't even let the Mars Fightin' Planets on the board, marking their second-straight 6-0 shutout. The Titans' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.

Not much got past Colby Weber, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Mars off the board. Weber has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ben Yeckel, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Shaler Area pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Mars, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
