Basketball Recap: Menomonie Takes a Loss

Menomonie suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2024 on Thursday. They were beaten by the West Salem Panthers 68-38. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Menomonie's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for West Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Menomonie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-60 loss against River Falls on the 24th. West Salem has also already played their next contest, a 65-23 win against Westby on the 24th.
