Deering hasn't had much luck against Noble recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rams will square off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Deering barely beat Westbrook the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams never let the Blue Blazes get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Rams have posted against the Blue Blazes since May 5, 2018.

Miles Lawrence made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over 6.2 innings pitched. Those 16 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Noble, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Windham with a sharp 12-2 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.
Caiden Barnes was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Dillon May, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Noble hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Deering's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Noble, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Deering might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Noble when the teams last played back in June of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
