Basketball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Churubusco Eagles and fell 71-34. The Marines were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Churubusco, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Hamilton and Churubusco could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Hamilton will square off against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 236 places (457 vs. 221). Similarly, Churubusco (ranked 324th) will meet Garrett (ranked 139th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
