Softball Recap: Hoover Has No Trouble Against Mckinley

Hoover got themselves on the board against McKinley on Wednesday, but McKinley never followed suit. They blew past the Bulldogs 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Hoover has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for McKinley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will host Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Polar Bears have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for McKinley, they will face off against Ravenna at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
