Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Comes Up Short at Home Against Eno River Academy + How To Watch

Triangle Math & Science unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Eno River Academy Bobcats on Friday, falling 61-38. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 56-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Triangle Math & Science lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ahish Pidikiti, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jailen Hawkins, who earned 11 points.

Eno River Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evan Hambright, who had 16 points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Hambright a new career-high. Cire McGhee was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Eno River Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triangle Math & Science will face off against Ascend Leadership at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eno River Academy, they will square off against Roxboro Community at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
