Basketball Recap: Temple Baptist Academy's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Temple Baptist Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They took down the Tabernacle Christian Conquerors 52-34. Given the Royal Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 236th in Tennessee, while the Conquerors are ranked 605th in North Carolina), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Noah Mueller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 19 en route to 26 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Tomlinson, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 15 points and six boards.

Temple Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Tabernacle Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
