Tamarac is 8-2 against Stillwater since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bengals will host the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Tamarac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Tamarac didn't have quite enough to beat Land O' Lakes and fell 9-7. That's two games in a row now that the Bengals have lost by exactly two runs.

Makenna Ashe and Ashlynn Tomaro did some serious damage despite the final result: Ashe went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Tomaro went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those doubles marked the first that Ashe has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Mihaly Blake, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Stillwater didn't have quite enough to beat Saratoga Central Catholic on Saturday and fell 12-11. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one run.

Morgan Kaiser made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Tamarac and nudges their season record down to 3-2. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only two runs. As for Stillwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Tamarac's way against Stillwater in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Tamarac made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Bengals repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
