Basketball Recap: Hilliard Davidson's Win Ends 13-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olentangy Orange, Hilliard Davidson was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They secured a 38-33 W over the Fairbanks Panthers. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Hilliard Davidson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Crawford, who posted nine points.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hannah Boehm, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points. Claire Meihls was another key player, putting up six points and seven boards.

Hilliard Davidson's victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-15. As for Fairbanks, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Hilliard Davidson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-33 loss against Hilliard Bradley on the 31st. As for Fairbanks, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-42 win against Greeneview on the 30th.
