It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Rancho Verde ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Citrus Hill Hawks 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Eli Draper made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Draper was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
