Softball Preview: Grassfield Grizzlies vs. Perquimans Pirates
The Grassfield Grizzlies will take on the Perquimans Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grassfield comes in on four and Perquimans on nine.
Grassfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Indian River get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Thursday. The Grizzlies' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Chase Hartford made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
