Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln County Patriots vs. Wayne County Cardinals

Lincoln County and Wayne County are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Lincoln County Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wayne County Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, Lincoln County lost to Boyle County on the road by a 48-33 margin. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne County). They enjoyed a cozy 72-56 victory over Pineville on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Wayne County has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Lincoln County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1.
