Southeast Raleigh came tearing into Friday's contest with 15 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Willow Spring Storm for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-36 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-11.

Southeast Raleigh found their leader in sophomore Korryn Davis, who posted 16 points. Davis has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Dariyah Harris, who put up ten points.

Despite the loss, Willow Spring still got an impressive performance from Amanda Mitchell, who went 6-for-14 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Mitchell, who had four points.

Southeast Raleigh pushed their record up to 23-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Willow Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Southeast Raleigh has already played their next game, a 61-28 win against Fuquay - Varina on the 17th. As for Willow Spring, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-53 victory against Cleveland on the 17th.
