East made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sutherland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Sutherland, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will head out to face off against Livonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sutherland, they will venture away from home to square off against Canandaigua Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
