Basketball Recap: Mescalero Apache Comes Up Short

Mescalero Apache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 66-58 to the Springer Red Devils. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 66-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mescalero Apache's record now sits at 2-8. As for Springer, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mescalero Apache will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eunice at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Springer will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Quemado at 6:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
