Football Recap: Roanoke Rapids Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Roanoke Rapids played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Bunn Wildcats 42-8. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.

Tyler Perry went supernova For Bunn., rushing for 142 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Perry a new career-high. Dj Smith got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Roanoke Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bunn, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Roanoke Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-12 victory against Nash Central on the 7th. Bunn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
