Basketball Recap: Mt. Healthy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwest last Wednesday, Mt. Healthy came back down to earth. The Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls were outmatched by the Batavia Bulldogs and fell 46-15. The Fighting Owls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

Mt. Healthy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Batavia, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Western Brown the next time they take the court. Mt. Healthy will host Western Brown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Batavia will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
