Hondo is 6-1 against Poteet since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hondo Owls will welcome the Poteet Aggies at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Hondo after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent.

Meanwhile, Poteet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against Pleasanton, falling 3-0.

Hondo has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which lines up perfectly with their 2-10 record this season. As for Poteet, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Hondo was able to grind out a solid victory over Poteet when the teams last played back in January, winning 4-2. Does Hondo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Poteet turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
