Baseball Recap: Whitefield Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against The Weber School on Tuesday, Whitefield Academy came back down to earth. The Whitefield Academy WolfPack fell just short of the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the WolfPack have suffered since March 13, 2024.

Whitefield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitefield Academy will take on Pace Academy at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Decatur at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. Holy Innocents Episcopal's pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so Decatur's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
