Volleyball Recap: Hoehne Takes a Loss

Hoehne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fowler Grizzlies. Farmers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Grizzlies since Thursday.

While Hoehne had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-27, 25-18.

Braylee Foster paced Hoehne's offense, picking up 11 kills. Foster got some help from Mikenna Dasko and her 19 assists.

Hoehne now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Fowler, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Hoehne has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Rye on the 21st. As for Fowler, after both having extra time off, they and Simla will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
