Basketball Recap: Life Center Academy Takes a Loss

Life Center Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Patrick School Celtics, falling 112-41. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 360th, while the Celtics are ranked sixth).

Patrick School was led to victory by Brandon Lee and Jaysean Williams. Lee posted 30 points, while Williams earned 27 points. Williams' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Santonio Wade, who had 16 points.

Life Center Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Patrick School, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

Life Center Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Patrick School, they will challenge College Achieve on Tuesday. Patrick School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 31 matches -- so hopefully College Achieve likes a good challenge.
