Football Recap: Lodi Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lodi, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 20-14 W over the Buhach Colony Thunder on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flames also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The critical scores for Lodi came from Alijah Diaz and Jakob Bentz.

Lodi's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Buhach Colony, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lodi will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on October 3. The Flames will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Buhach Colony, after each having a week off, they and Atwater will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
