Already committed to Houston, sophomore bolsters head coach Steve Smith's rotation.

Perennial powerhouse Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) is off to a slow start this season, compiling a 2-7 record against nationally-ranked opponents. Help is on the way with the addition of highly-touted sophomore prospect Mercy Miller, who transferred this week from Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, Minn.).

The Warriors are currently ranked No. 8 in the National Top 20 with a 15-7 record overall and 3-4 record in NIBC play.

The son of rap icon Master P, Miller is a 6-foot-4 sophomore guard who was averaging over 20 points per game this season at Minnehaha Academy. He committed to Houston last August over offers from Hampton and Minnesota, according to 247Sports.

At Oak Hill Academy, Miller will join five-star Duke pledge Caleb Foster, four-star senior Judah Mintz, five-star Kentucky signee Chris Livingston, four-star LSU signee Devin Ree and three-star Duke pledge Christian Reeves among others.

Miller is expected to be in uniform this weekend at the Spalding Hoophall Classic in Massachusetts as the Warriors take on  La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.) on Saturday and Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) on Sunday.

Mercy's older brother Hercy began his college career this season at Tennessee State but announced last month he was entering the transfer portal.
