 North Ridgeville was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell  6-3 to the Medina Battling Bees.
  Enmanual Ramos was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 On Medina's side,  Lincoln Briggs tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Camryn Hathaway and  Joey Johnson did most of the damage at the plate:  Hathaway  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances, while  Johnson  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Smigel, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 North Ridgeville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Medina, the  win was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
 North Ridgeville will head out on the road to  square off against  Avon Lake at 4:45  p.m.  on Monday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (North Ridgeville: 2.9, Avon Lake: 3.7) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Medina, they will be playing at home against Shaker Heights at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Medina will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak  alive.
