Softball Recap: Northeast Dubois Victorious

While Northeast Dubois's win against South Spencer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jeeps sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Rebels on Saturday. The Jeeps have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

The win made it two in a row for Northeast Dubois and bumps their season record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for South Spencer, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Dubois will square off against Linton-Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Spencer, they will venture away from home to face off against Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
