Preview: St. Joseph Christian Lions vs. Plattsburg Tigers
The St. Joseph Christian Lions will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Plattsburg Tigers. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Joseph Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past Bishop LeBlond with a 26-20 win.
Peyton Hausman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Hausman hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games.
Meanwhile, Plattsburg put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past DeKalb 72-0 at home. Plattsburg might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six contests by 24 points or more this season.
St. Joseph Christian pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Plattsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
