Softball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Tigers vs. Calvary Christian Knights
On Saturday, the King's Ridge Christian Tigers didn't have quite enough to beat the Calvary Christian Knights and fell 8-7. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kate Greiner led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-2 with a home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
King's Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Calvary Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
King's Ridge Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ware County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Calvary Christian, they will square off against Strong Rock Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
