Volleyball Recap: Sacramento Country Day Falls to Bear River in First Game of Season

Sacramento Country Day had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Bear River Bruins. If the Cavaliers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bruins when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10.

Bear River can attribute much of their success to Brooke Milligan, who had 18 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Milligan has posted since back in September of 2024.

Coincidentally, Sacramento Country Day and Bear River will both be playing Westlake Charter the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Explorers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bruins will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
