Softball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

Walhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Crescent Tigers, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Razorbacks of the 11-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Walhalla saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabbie Bonnadies, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Crescent, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Looking ahead, Walhalla will host West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Razorbacks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Crescent, they are taking a road trip to take on South Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.2, the Bruins 1.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
