Volleyball Recap: Waupaca Comets vs. Antigo Red Robins
Waupaca had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Antigo Red Robins 3-0 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-15.
Peyton Carlson paced Waupaca's offense, picking up 20 kills. Carlson got some help from
Taylor Kling and her 34 assists.
Waupaca's win bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Antigo, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-11.
Waupaca will venture away from home to face off against Mosinee at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mosinee will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Waupaca surely won't give up without a fight. Antigo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
