Softball Recap: Maple Mountain Beats Wasatch for Their Third Straight Win

Maple Mountain entered their tilt with Wasatch on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Wasps with a sharp 20-5 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 back in March.

Maple Mountain got a massive performance out of Gracie Jensen, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-3. Those six RBI gave Jensen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylee Robinson, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Maple Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wasatch only posted a batting average of .176.

Maple Mountain's record now sits at 14-5. As for Wasatch, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
