Foothill Tech had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Santa Paula Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Foothill Tech won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 25-22.

Foothill Tech now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Santa Paula, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Coming up, Foothill Tech is taking a road trip to square off against Laguna Blanca at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Paula, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nordhoff at 6:00 p.m.
