Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-41 to St. Timothy. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced St. Timothy's earlier this season, when they won 61-47.

When it comes to explaining why St. Mary's lost, don't look at Bailey Harris. Despite the final result, she posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Casey O'Hare, who put up six points.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for St. Timothy's, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will take on Pallotti at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Timothy's, they will challenge Roland Park Country at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
