Basketball Recap: Wapato Comes Up Short

Wapato lost against Naches Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wapato Wolves came up short against the Naches Valley Rangers, falling 72-48.

Wapato's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Naches Valley, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Coming up, Wapato won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Zillah at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Wapato has won five straight at home, while Zillah won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Naches Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
