Soccer Recap: Cape Hatteras Takes a Loss

The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes lost 6-1 to the Lawrence Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Hurricanes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Maya Stuart, which was the first she's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cape Hatteras and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Lawrence Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Hatteras is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against Albemarle School at 5:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Lawrence Academy, they will head out to square off against Ridgecroft at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
