Volleyball Recap: Yorba Linda Comes Up Short

Yorba Linda suffered their biggest loss since April 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sunny Hills Lancers, falling 3-0.

While Yorba Linda was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Sunny Hills' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.

Yorba Linda's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Sunny Hills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Yorba Linda is taking a road trip to take on El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunny Hills, they will square off against St. John Bosco at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
