Baseball Recap: Cole Valley Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Marsh Valley

Cole Valley Christian faced Marsh Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Chargers came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chargers have suffered since April 12th.

Lucas Guray was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Tyler Romine was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Cole Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Marsh Valley, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

As of now, neither Cole Valley Christian nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
