Softball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Medfield's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Medfield can now relate to. They fell 5-0 to the Gloucester Fishermen on Monday. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Warriors, who fell 5-3 when the teams last met back in June of 2025.

Medfield moved to 10-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Gloucester, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Medfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gloucester has already played their next contest (against Cardinal Spellman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
